Bowling for Scholars Event Earns Big Payoff for STLCC Students
In 2012, being a college student is no easy task. While student loans may not be standard for all students, textbooks and study materials are. To help our current STLCC students afford textbooks and other educational materials for their courses, alumni and community members joined in our 8th annual Bowling for Scholars event.
The afternoon included bowling, an online auction and a raffle. In previous years, the combined proceeds totaled over $156,000. We’re proud to announce that, in our 50th anniversary year, the Bowling for Scholars event on April 20 raised almost $50,000.
