My dad, Anthony Lampe, was a charter faculty member at Forest Park Community College in the history department. I attended Forest Park and graduated in 1974 with an Associate's Degree in Nursing. I went on to earn a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Nursing and taught at Meramec Community College in the 1980s. I earned a PhD in Nursing in 2000 and currently am on the faculty at Saint Louis University School of Nursing. St. Louis Community College has been like a friend in the family since we moved here in 1963. Happy 50th!
