School’s Out But Orientation Is In: STLCC Welcomes New Students
Whether they just graduated high school or took a few years off to gain some work experience, the first days of college for any new student can be filled with nerves and anxiety. New people, new courses and a new campus can be a lot to handle all at once. At St. Louis Community College, we hope to make our students’ time productive, educational and fun from day one. That’s why our New Student Registration Workshop is the place to be for first-time college students.
We want our students to hit the ground running. In their workshop, students will meet with their academic advisor, discuss appropriate coursework, register for classes and learn the basics of campus life, like the location of libraries and cafeterias. Students should file ACT/SAT or COMPASS test scores prior to attending.
Our new student orientation workshops will be offered now through June with several opportunities available in July for our South County students. For a complete schedule and to RSVP for your preferred date, please visit our website.
In honor of our 50th anniversary, we’re inviting all alumni to visit our 50th anniversary website and leave their mark on our map! Do you remember your first day at STLCC? Tell us your story and where you are today. We want to hear from you!
